Thank you card

Hi again, I am back yet with another card.  This time I took on the Global Design Project sketch as a challenge and once again I am using Stampin Up stamps.  This set is called Petal Palette and I also used a little butterfly and a border from the Butterfly Basics set.

I cut an A2 size card base from Melon Mambo card stock.  Next I cut a smaller size water color paper panel and painted with pink and splattered some gold paint on it, too.  I also stamped a cute border stamp from the Butterfly Basics set using Tip Top Taupe ink and tied a thin jute right above it and adhered it to  my card base.  Next I die cut an oval shape using Pool Party card stock and layered onto my card water colored card front using pop dots.

Next I stamped my flower image onto watercolor card stock and painted it in and cut it out and once again using pop dots I added it to my oval shape.  Next I stamped the little butterfly, cut it out and added it to my flowers.  Finally I white embossed the sentiment to black card stock, cut it out and adhered it to my floral panel.

Here is the sketch I was using.

Hope you like this little card and make sure you check out the Global Design Project Blog for their current challenge.

Thanks for visiting and hope you are having a great day!!!

Thinking of you

Hello, hope you have a great day!  I found a fun sketch on Fab Friday and thought I would play along, so mu card is representative of that.  Once I again I used some cute new Stampin Up stamps and dies.  I did use some Cheery Lynn dies as I don't have the Stampin Up dies.

I started out my card with an A2 size card base cut out of white card stock, than I cut a 4"x5.25" panel out of Bermuda Bay card stock. Next I cut a banner and the circle out of white card stock.  I stamped my wreath onto the circle shape using Pear Pizzazz ink and added cute sequins to it.

Next I stamped flowers using Pool Party, Melon Mambo and Peekaboo Peach and cut them out.  Finally I cut out the pretty leaf from the Eclectic Layers dies using Pear Pizzazz card stock and vellum.

Hope you like this little card and check out Fab Friday's blog to see what they created.

Hugs,

Eva

Celebrate You

Hi there, I am back with another card to share with you today.  Since it's Sale-a-bration time at Stampin Up, I like to stock up on goodies.  I happened to pick up a few of the special stamps and today I am sharing a card created with some of them and the accompanying dies.  I made this for a friend's birthday and hope she will like it.  Now if I could just mail it off.  Am I the only bad person who dilly dallies on mailing cards off...LOL

Anyway, I did some gold embossing on this card and some watercoloring and I love how the flowers turned out on this card.  Stampin Up also has cute sequins I added to my card.

Anyway, I am entering this card into the most recent TGIF Challenges.  Check it out, you might want to play along, too.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!!

Sunday Stamps: Missing you card

Hello, I have been making a few cards and will blog about those, too, but today I made a card to play along with Sunday Stamps newest sketch.  I really loved it and thought I would use some of my new Stampin Up stamps and dies, so here is what I came up with.

I really love dies and this set is just so much fun!! It's called Oh So Eclectic Bundle, in case you are wondering.  Here are some details of the pretty dies I used.  In this set there are some dies that are just embossing. I didn't know that at first, but the leaf is pretty fun!

Make sure you check out the Sunday Stamps blog for this week's sketch SSC172 and play along.

Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely day!

I am back.....

Hello, it's been a long time since I posted.  I had some life changes and took some time off from blogging and really from creating as well.  Lots have happened, some good and some bad, including my sweet dog Roxy's passing unexpectedly and that really broke my soul.  While she will never be replaced, we did add a new puppy family member, Mishka and she is adorable every way.  I'll post pictures of her soon and also the new place I live.

But the truth is, once you are a crafter, you are always a crafter in your heart.  So here I am again.  Hope you still visit me. :) I actually made some Christmas cards and that was fun and now I have a card for a friend who sadly lost her husband.  My heart is so sad for her.  I learned of the news from one of our mutual friends and I couldn't believe it.  I hope when she receives this card it will give her a little comfort at least.

I bought some Stampin Up goodies to create this card with and I had so much fun painting the images with watercolor markers.    I started my card with white embossing the images from the Petal Palette stamps set onto watercolor paper and I watercolored them and fussy cut them as I don't have the matching dies.

Next I cut another piece of watercolor paper and did a little wash on the card with blue paint and using pop dots I added my painted images.  Than I whited embossed a sentiment from an older set onto a black strip of paper and added it to my card front.  Next I cut a slightly larger black card stock and adhered it to the bottom of my card front and finally adhered all of that to an A2 size white card base.  I am also entering this card into the Global Design Project newest challenge GDP #124.

Well, hope you like this card.  Thanks for visiting!

Hugs,
Eva

Cherry Lynn Designs Farewell card

Hello there, today I am sharing the last time my creations on the Cheery Lynn Designs blog.  It has been so fun to be on this team, but time to let someone else have fun with as well. My life has become much busier with work than ever and it was time give up something and as much as I love creating, I will only continue when time allows.  I am forever grateful for being on this amazing team.  I thought the perfect card to leave with would be a card that shows my gratitude, so I made a grateful card.  And since fall is coming I wanted to use the new Fall Leaves dies.

Since I love to water color so much, I wanted to show case my card with that technique.  To start out I created a card base using mint card stock.  Next I die cut a Rectangle Scalloped LG Purple Stackers Nesting Dies out of water color card stock and painted my back ground.  Next I die cut the Fall Leaves  out of water color card stock and painted them with water colors to create the prettiest fall leaves I could come up with and added them to my card in a collage.  I added a pretty bow to them.  Next I die cut the Grateful sentiment using black card stock and added two leaves in the corner.

Hope you like this little card and here is the list of the dies I used to create this card with:

Thank you for stopping by and I hope to see your card in our current challenges.
